I just know in my heart of hearts that in "Star Trek" at one point, there was some moral panic somewhere on Vulcan (among the uppity sorts) because Human culture was "infecting" the local youth with their overly emotional, destructive, unproductive, frivolous, and uneducational ways.

And what was actually happening was that a bunch of Vulcan kids got really into 23rd-century "Minecraft" or something.

Small Vulcan child @ another Vulcan child: (in a tone that sounds flat to Humans but angry as hell to Vulcans) "You have compromised the optimization of my fortress. I am having an emotional urge to blow up your house... in Minecraft."

Demo and Sniper are like the founding couple of a friend group that plays some made-up card game with extremely elaborate rules which Demo can never successfully explain and Sniper refuses to explain outright

Eddie posts a Tiktok, talking about how Steve isn’t a big texter - he’s something worse, a caller - but when he does text Eddie, half the time it’s incomprehensible. The background of the video is a screenshot of a text conversation that starts with Steve sending Eddie a mermaid emoji. Eddie responds like, what does that mean???

Eddie gestures to where he blacked out the picture Steve sent him, “This is a picture of him in the bath. He wanted me to join him. How was I supposed to get that from a mermaid??”

Dustin stitches the video with a screenshot of a conversation he and Steve had a few weeks ago. Steve sent him a picture of a lizard one of his students found and asked, “Who is this?”

Dustin says in text and in the video that it’s ridiculous that Steve just assumes he knows the names of all the types of lizards out there. It’s also annoying because *Dustin moves to reveal the part of the conversation where he tells Steve that it’s an Eastern Fence Lizard* “I did actually know what kind of lizard it was.”

Dustin ignores the part of the conversation where Steve asks if it’d eat a cat.

Robin wordlessly stitches a screenshot of Steve asking, “What does it mean if a student called me based? Is that good?”

Mike stitches Eddie’s original video with a screenshot of his last text conversation with Steve where Steve says that he can’t do movie night. He’s having a Michael. Mike responded to this unprovoked attack like, “…Did you serious name your migraine after me?”

With your fem fortress team, what’s Demo’s relation with canon Demo?

Yvaine (Fem Demo) was the biological kid of Demo’s original adoptive parents, making them adoptive siblings!

They only knew each other when they were both very young, falling out of contact when Demo’s biological parents finally came back into the picture and took Demo back in, leaving Yvaine to grow up at the Crypt Grammar School for Orphans by herself. They got along pretty well when they were younger! Though the relationship got a bit rocky on account of the whole . Incident

But thats ok! Im sure several decades to sit with the consequences of the event and no real outlet to grieve properly means that finally meeting again as adults could not possibly be strange or uncomfortable! And im sure theyre both absolutely going to address the massive elephant in the room!
